TRANSPARENCY & TRACEABILITY
Grunberger diamonds is proud to provide the highest quality natural diamonds using a legacy of experience as a fourth-generation company, the Grunberger Precision Cut, and state-of-the-art diamond testing equipment.
Professional Synthetic Diamond Tester
As a world renowned provider of melee diamonds, and as a company committed to superior service, to eliminate the risk of getting synthetic diamonds, we use synthetic diamond detection machines, such as the GLIS-3000 and the M+ Screen.
M+SCREEN
The M+SCREEN is a lab-grown diamond testing machine specifically designed for melee diamonds. It detects Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) Diamonds and High-Pressure High Temperature (HPHT) diamonds using short wave UV light technology.
Developed by the Antwerp Scientific Research Centre for Diamonds as a CVD diamond tester and an HPHT diamond tester, The M-Screen+ screens and sorts round, brilliant diamonds, and then automatically singles out stones that may be synthetic.
TRANSPARENCY & TRACEABILITY
GLIS-3000
Gem Luminescence Illuminating System (GLIS) is a diamond tester on lab diamonds that analyzes diamond fluorescence and phosphorescence images after ultraviolet irradiation.
The GLIS helps distinguish and locate synthetic stones by examining differences between the fluorescence and phosphorescence of natural and synthetic diamonds.
Professional skilled analysis of the data provided by this powerful synthetic diamond machine allows examination of loose and mounted diamonds.
TRANSPARENCY & TRACEABILITY
Start With Natural Diamonds, Finish With Highly Skilled Craftsmanship
When thinking of the four C’s of Diamonds (Cut, Clarity, Color, and Carat), it is important to remember a diamond’s brilliance is largely determined by its cut. Even a diamond with perfect clarity and color can appear dark with a poor cut. Choosing quality natural diamonds which have been expertly cut with perfect proportions, symmetry and which utilize the heart and arrows pattern, brings out the best a diamond has to offer.

Grunberger Diamonds is a proud member of the Responsible Jewellery Council. The RJC is a standards-setting organization that was established to advance responsible, ethical, human rights, social and environmental practices throughout the diamond, gold and platinum group metals jewelry supply chain. The RJC has developed a benchmark standard for the jewelry supply chain and credible mechanisms for verifying responsible business practices through third party auditing.
As an RJC Member, we commit to operating our business in accordance with the RJC Code of Practices. We commit to integrating ethical, human rights, social and environmental considerations into our day-to-day operations, business planning activities and decision-making processes. Although we have always had a commitment to human rights and ethical business practices, our membership in the RJC ensures we will stay one step ahead of any new potential issues in the diamond and jewelry industry.
As part of our compliance, we meet yearly to survey our business and look for any areas of improvement. After meeting to discuss our practices throughout 2022, we further streamlined our inventory accounting process to ensure that we remain ethical and secure. And to ensure we always have in stock what our customers need. We have also sought green initiatives in our supply chain, and we strive to lower our carbon footprint across the entire company. We drafted an ESG Report to determine our social and environmental impact and to look for areas of improvement. We now have a policy to try to reduce greenhouse gases by 3% per year across the company.
Additionally, we continue to comply with the requirements of the Kimberley Process, the World Diamond Council, and the Natural Diamond Council. We also continue to maintain strict compliance with AML standards to ensure transparency and ethical business dealings. We will keep you updated on any new developments as they may arise, and we welcome any feedback in areas for improvement.
